The Role:

We are seeking motivated and skilled Stores Personnel to join our team and help us manage inventory and store operations effectively. This is a FIFO role, based at our client site in Weipa, North Qld.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Establish, develop, and run the tool store and weekly maintenance parts store for fixed plant processing equipment.
  • Manage inventory, ensuring accurate stock levels and timely replenishment.
  • Operate forklifts and other machinery safely and efficiently.
  • Organize and maintain the parts laydown yard, ensuring a clean and organized storage area.
  • Utilize SAP for inventory management and reporting.
  • Collaborate with team members to optimize store operations and workflows.
  • Assist in shipping and receiving of equipment and materials.

  • Casual 8/6 rostered works, with potential for long-term work and development for the right candidate
  • 12 Hour Shifts – consisting of day shift and night shift

  • Super paid on all hours worked

About You:

Essential Requirements:

  • Valid Forklift ticket (HRWL-LF).
  • Previous experience using SAP for inventory management
  • Production & safety orientated with a focus on achieving results for both you and for the company.
  • Strong organizational and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Ability to pass a pre-employment medical examination, including drug, alcohol, and fitness tests, prior to starting
  • Must have the right to work in Australia.

Desirable Qualifications:

  • Mechanical and/or mining background
  • HR Truck License
  • Previous experience in developing new systems and strategies
